| #1 Question: How do I get paid and how much? |
| Answer: You will receive a check from Wilcox Center for Psychotherapy and the Healing Arts every month that your sales are $50 or more. Customers and graduates of the Create It Course receive 20% commissions and other affiliates receive 15%. These are paid for all referrals through your affiliate link that result in sales for any of our three Create It Course products. You can login to your account and view your stats for sales activity in real time whenever you choose. |
| #2 Question: How do I use the ads and links on this site? |
| Answer: There are three options available for you. You may select links only, text ads or image banner links. You will find these options when you click on Banner Linking Code. Simply copy and paste the html code into your web pages where you want them to display. Text ads and image banners will show up as a gray box in your editor. When the page is published however, the ad will display properly and will include your embedded affiliate link. If you are using your own text or banner ads, be sure to include your affiliate link. It is a good idea to test your links and ads to make sure they work properly. |
| #3 Question: How can I make the most sales from your affiliate program? |
| Answer: Increasing the visibility of text ads and banners on your website, ezine and other mailings is very important. When you are sending out an ad in an email to your list, include some reason why you are personally endorsing this program and how it will benefit your subscriber. |
| #4 Question: Which are more effective - banner ads or text ads? |
| Answer: Text ads have proven to be more effective in producing sales. Banners can get attention but are obviously ads. Text messages, particularly when they include a personal testimonial, are the most effective. |
| #5 Question: Can I use my affiliate link with my own testimonial? |
| Answer: Absolutely. If you are a graduate of the Create It Course and have experienced transformational benefits, you are certain to be excited and passionate about helping others with this course. A testimonial is one of the most effective and powerful forms of advertising. An effective testimonial will state some of your general problems prior to the course and specifically how the course impacted your life and solved those problems. Be sure to include your affiliate link with any promotional message you provide. |
| #6 Question: Why is it NOT a good idea to promote a variety of affiliate products/programs on the same page of my website? |
| Answer: The more focused you can make your ads on a particular product or program, the more you are leading your prospect to buy. If you provide them with multiple options, they are likely to get confused and distracted. A confused prospect seldom buys. |
| #7 Question: I would like to make my own banner ads to promote your products. Can I do that? |
| Answer: Yes you can but they need to be approved before you use them. Send your artwork (or a link where it can be viewed) to drjudith@wilcoxhealingcenter.com. |
| #8 Question: Can I send ads for your affiliate program to an email list that I purchased? |
| Answer: Beware of email lists that may or may not be permission based. Our policies about spam are very strict and are cause for termination of your account. The only form of legitimate email marketing is to mail to people who have opted in to receive your email. Remember to comply with laws that provide a subscriber the option to remove their name from your list with each mailing (and make sure their name is removed). |
| #9 Question: Can I use my own affiliate link to pay for the Create It Course for my own personal use? |
| Answer: No. Your affiliate link is strictly for referral purposes. In fact, using your affiliate link to attempt to purchase the Create It program for yourself will result in your termination from the affiliate program. |
| #10 Question: Am I required to disclose that I am paid for promotion of affiliate products? |
Answer: Yes. New FTP regulations require that you disclose your financial gain from promotion of an affiliate product. A message that meets this requirement is included on all banner and text ads within your affiliate account. When sending out promotional email, add a comment below your affiliate link.
